Hi All, Just was wondering what a PIG Dial is? I have seen this word floating around the Panerai forums but I have no idea what it is. Thanks!

is the torpedo logo on the dial of the first batch of the PAM292, J series.

On the torpedo. Made its first experience in pam76.

PIG is a direct translation of maiale, the nickname of the human torpedo used by the italian NAVY in the World War II. Panerai watches / equipments were worn by the Italian Frogmen during the World War. That is how Panerai is related to the Italian NAVY. ...
