Omega Seamaster 300 Ref 165 024. Gone but not forgotten.
I used to own this one for several years, and it was one of my very favorite vintage Omega.
The Lyre lugs case is something. The dial adds a lot of charm, and the whole watch has a great presence and allure.
Now, the 165 024 also came with this dial. Forget the circled T, it is a military version, just focus on the rest of the dial.
Big triangle at 12, different hands, a bit more powerful.
As the first one " disappeared " from my collection, I wonder with which one I will replace it. Ok, a military 165 024 would be the top. But a " civilian " one would be nice enough.
The project? Getting at least 3 different Seamaster " diving " cases: CK 2913, Seamaster 300 165 024, and Seamaster 600 Ploprof 166 077.
What? A Seamaster 120 Deep Blue Ref 166 073, too??? Tsss, you are too greedy!
Best,
Nicolas
