Not seen before - the start of the Richard Mille movement....

At this level of magnification, it looks like an engine block for a race car....



And then, in context, the micro engineering involved in machining new base plates for RM005 or RM010 movements:



Before finishing, PVD coating, and then having the movement built upon it, the titanium plates are cut from the plain metal disks.
