Thrilled to add this to my existing UJ ONE. Reference 1140 comprised 9 different combinations of dial colour, numerals and case materials. Only 200 were made in all combinations, 100 of which were the limited editions! So it’s quite possible that this number even less than the limited pieces. I’m hoping Venla Voutilainen will enlighten me further! Meanwhile please show me yours if you have one!

Beautiful and exclusive
It’s always great to see a UJ and this one is no exception. Lovely dial work and the hands and indices impress too.
What's the current status of UJ as a company ?
I remember a few years ago KV became ceo I believe? Haven't heard anything since then or seen any releases? A shame since that watch is so beautiful. And the movement finishing is top.
No one knows for sure,
KV bought them outright so he's the owner rather than CEO in 2021 and is due to relaunch with a new series of watches at some point maybe this year. He missed the 2023 250th anniversary citing they weren't ready. Meanwhile his daughter Venla actually runs...

Just for interest I'm told that my version was less than 50 pieces. The saddest part though was learning that after the Danish investor take over in 2015 UJ stopped all the inhouse production and instead used outsourced companies to produce all the parts,...
