Horological Meandering

New project

Hi all,

Some time ago I aquired a watch with a movement from a pocket watch. Let's hope they did not scrap the pocket watch for this...
However, now comes the time to move on with the next steps and I just wanted to have your feedback.

Case diameter is a very wearable 42mm which is ok. It is in red gold and I'm not sure I like it that way. So, the question is: new case, if yes, it would have to be in steel (or white gold). I suppose it is inpossble to plate the current case?

The dial, I'm not too sure about it, somehow I would like to keep the minute repeater mechanism visible. Even an hour  ring would cover the nicest part. Probable would like the hour weel to be opened up. So any sugestions? Please note that removed the minute hand as it would obstruct the second hand from running as it was bend. Other questions are: do I keep the second hand at 9 o clock

And then the movement..Everything working fine as well time as striking mechanism. Probably just needs a cleaning.

And I'm not sure I'm allowed to ask the question, so PM if appropriate; who could take on such a project without going in stratospheric cost like it would be the case with Kari..... And although the movement is very nicely finished, we are not speaking about a top movement, so everything must be in relation to that.
