Dug this out from the safe today. 2nd time on my wrist since I bought it 3 years ago which is just so wrong. With covid lockdowns, visits to the safe has been minimal and most of the time I don’t stop long enough to “check” on the watches. This one was missed while lying tucked into a far corner.
After 2 days of wearing this, I am remembering the simplicity that made me buy this and how well it wears.

True. I would prefer if the date was either not there or just a little more to the right though.
But in reality, I'd say it bugs me on picture, but when on the wrist, it is subtle enough to not be an issue

I peak a bit on their website. I search for a 40 model till 8K. Hand color, strap, dial, all i take to my final decision. Maybe it is better to look for a used model that ticks all the boxes.

I sold the Mark 16 off previously and it was not the best decision I made. Wanted to get a replacement eventually but the Mark 17 was not to my taste. This is close, but I like your version better.
