My Purchase for April 2010

These watches were eagerly awaited, not only by me but by one of my partners (and his brother-in-law from Perth) as well. The anticipation was made more excruciating by the long waiting time between placing the order and the actual delivery of the watches, made worse by the fact that the good people at Stowa was away at Basel in March.

Anyway, good things come to those who wait....and these Marine Originals was worth the wait. Even more so since these were ordered before the price increase.

My choice was the basic white dial, arabic numerals and brown leather strap variant. My partner's choice is the black dialed, arabic numeral with the black leather strap. His brother-in-law's choice is the black dialed, roman numerals, Milanaise stainless steel bracelet variant.

Much has been written about the Stowa Marine Original so I'll spare the details. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
