I have just bought this 1965 Heuer Carrera and I can't stop looking at this simple and elegant dial display.
Here's the watch together with another chronograph that has become a legend on the tracks
Now I just have to drive as fast as this famous gentleman, who has made a legend of the heuer Carrera...

Heuer were a great brand during the 60's and this is a perfect example of what they were capable of. its such a shame that when you 'Tag' something on the front it all went wrong i'm also very pleased that when i start to look for a 64 Heuer i'll be able ...

Two of the best drivers of all time. Never saw McLaren . . .
. . . but witnessed Gurney five times, most memorably the first because I took a photo of him crashing into the barrier at Ontario Motor Speedway.
Unfortunately, I've lost track of it, Jeff. The race was . . .
. . . the inaugural California 500 at Ontario Motor Speedway, and I managed to get off a picture of Gurney hitting the wall directly in front of me.

It's a Beauty
I usually prefer the three-register chronographs, but this Carrera looks fantastic with the two registers . . . better symmetry . . . more of the beautiful dial finish. Enjoy this one!! Jeff
