I owned this model before but this one is for keeps, I promise! I missed the old one as soon as it was gone. Know the feeling? I'm really happy to have a Master Compressor Geographic again......  

I sold 5 Watches I finally bought again. Yes, it can happen, and sometimes, this is the only solution to understand at what point you can miss a watch. As for some things in life, this is when you miss it that you undertsand a bit later that you loved it.... 

Yes Nicholas, it's true isn't it: sometimes you don't know what you have until it's gone. The Geographic is one of my favorite complications. As a musician, I tour quite a bit and find this to be a fine travel watch. Some people feel that it is only good ...

Here's my Master Geo alongside a few that I know longer have (sob, weep!). As you can see, I also had a silver dial Geo! I guess you might say I love this model. I sincerely hope that JLC issue more Master Control models in 40mm but with the thinner, more...

I am a bit pleasantly surprised that you love these models so much. You seem to have some of the much higher-end models, but yes, these classics cannot be bettered. I have always felt that JLC really excelled at the most beautiful dress/sporty watches but... 

From the Vintage to the Modern, the simple, and the more complicated, I am an eclectic guy. I love a lot the new MUT in 38mm, and I hunt the black Geo, but also a Gephysic, a Gemoatic. I pray to see a new relese of the Master reveil with a Black dial. So,... 

I hope for a 40mm Master Grande Taille with the thin bezel. This would be the JLC equivalent of the Patrimony Contemporaine! I too love the new, larger Ultra Thins but I would miss having the date function. Another reason I'd like to see the watch I have ... 

The Grande MUT is a bit a lookalike a Geomatic, for me. Another stunning watch, not Ultra thin anymore, but Thin, class, and very elegant! Best, and thanks for the nice words, Elliot;

Hi Nicolas and Elliot; this is excactly how I was led into the JLC world. This black Geo killed me when I first saw it many years ago. Unfortunately I didn't buy it. Then after years I had the chance to be the owner of first MC Geo that arrived in Istanbu... 

I feel for you, Ahmet. Perhaps you could refuse to set it for her any more and she will eventually get tired of driving to the boutique and enduring all the giggles for a woman who can't set a watch. Eventually she may become too embarrassed to deal with ...

Yeah, saphire crystal case back protected by a "charnie re" dust cover (direct from the web dictionary with an accent on the first "e"). I have no idea if it is the right translation for "hinged".

Thanks Nicolas. Why do you think they are discontinued? Is it because of lowering the cost of the watch? Or is it because JLC thinks it is not a useful feature anymore since these timepieces are not worn by adventurous travellers, so no need for any dust ... 

is the Master World Geo to round out your collection (it and the Compressor GEO are both 41.5). -Dean
