My first Chopard
Allow me to give a little backstory...for the past couple months, I was looking to get a nice perpetual calendar with an oversized date window. That left me with either the Lange Datograph (I wanted the chronograph function) or a Chopard Lunar One (edit: or a GO perpetual like the senator or navigator, as well. Forgot about them.) So, I had been keeping an eye out, making offers when something interesting popped up. I really wanted a perpetual calendar with some kind of additional function.
But then, just a month or two ago, a really interesting piece popped up. It took a bit of negotiating, but the price was good and I ended up pulling the trigger.

Perpetual Calendar, Tourbillon, 7 day power reserve, equation of time and moonphase on the back? Yes, please.
I want to say this is the last watch I buy, but we'll see. If you're interested in a more detailed write up, after I wear it for a month or two, maybe I can do something more substantial. For now, all I can say is that I've never owned a watch this big. It's a different feeling, but it's surprising how quickly I'm adjusting to it.
