Macro Monday with a Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Striking Time
A keeper after many years of ownership. Although not a daily wear, whenever I have it, every minute jump is a small event. Here’s an angle shot of the face and hammer - A very different design from the rest of my round watches.
And the back side is not too bad either. An remontoire escapement with the Lange finishing - a visual feast :P

Good point. I would have love for it to strike with a tad more decibels
Wearing it I can hear it well enough though. Timbre wise - i feel it is fine but I'll bring it next time we meet

You’ve changed my mind
I was always a pure Zeitwerk guy rather than the striking version. Because of less bulky and more prefer the hammer position of the minute repeater. Now everything change! Will Lange provide an upgrade from my Zeitwerk to Striking? The picture really stun...
