Hi all.
The screw holding the winding rotor on my BP Reveil came loose last month. Fortunately I was near a watchmaker who would be able to open the back of the case and resecure the screw. Unfortunately (and I still don't understand how this happened as I was watching intently the whole time) the screw disappeared.
One second it was in his tweezers and the next it was gone. I am now in search of this screw. I know it's a Frederic Piguet movement and have been searching the Internet and local watchmakers as well as their suppliers without any luck. I found several places who could supply me with various Frederic Piguet components but not any screws.
The AD wants $1500 for the "repair" which i think is a bit excessive and I simply can't justify it for a screw (I don't lay golden eggs).
Does anyone know where I might be able to source this screw from?
Thanks in advance.
