Lange Chronographs

During the traditional holiday season navel gazing, it dawned on me that the chrono minute hands of Lange chronographs are lance shaped like the hour and minute hand, and do not have the diamond-shaped extended counter balance or tail (please excuse the very technical language). It may be clearer from the pictures below but I dont know how to add circles to the pictures in my Mac.

(pics by foversta and stock lange photo of 1815) To me, it seems more intuitive for the chrono hands to be similarly shaped and colored eg both are silver and with the diamond shaped tail. But Lange has chosen to mix them up. The chrono hand has the diamond shaped tail (it is beautiful by the way) and so does the running second hand. I looked at other Lange watches and realized this is consistent with its time only pieces, ie the hour and minute hands are lance shaped but the running seconds has the diamond shaped tail. On the color, you can see from the double split that Lange used a gold color for the split minutes and seconds but for the chrono seconds and minutes, it's all mixed up. So what do you think is better? As is, which is consistent with other non-chrono Lange watches, or have a clear color and hand design for the chronos? Personally, my vote is for the latter which is much clearer to read and a stronger design theme.
