Just grabbed a new Seiko SPB151 "Willard" ...
Had my eye on this since the first reports last winter. It just came in today.
I went with the 151 w the black dial. It came with a nice bracelet but I popped that off and added a NATO strap.
It's a nice size. My SRP777 is nice but a tad large for my tastes. This is just slightly smaller which is perfect, in my opinion. This is the first Seiko I've owned worth more than $400. And the improvements are noticeable. The crown is solid with no unnecessary play, and buttery smooth. The same goes for the bezel.
The sapphire crystal is great with a nice bevel. I'm also excited about the 70 hour power reserve. And there's no day here, only a date. And no cyclops over the date.
