Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso à Rideau Minute Repeater.
Introduced in 2011, this Minute Repeater is certainly one of the most original one. No gasket, here, but a curtain which replaces the traditional trigger to activate the minute repeater.
Moreover, a rectangular minute repeater is not something common. There was another one made in the mid 90's, in rose gold, GT case. But there is no other which immediately comes to my mind, as a rectangular minute repeater.
This Reverso à rideau Minute Repeater has an agressive sound, due to its trebuchet. A nice surprise.

'Rideau', yes, but 'trebuchet'?
The youtube below shows the 'rideau', but what is a 'trebuchet'. I thought it was a Roman war 'engine'.
Amazing work of art.
I like to see such complexity in such a small place, it makes it even more desirable. It was released when I visited the manufacture so I had the pleasure to see it live and make it sing. Vte
