What makes a luxury watch. One big factor is attention to detail and for me that is something GP excels at.
Let's have a look (closer look) at some examples:
Traveller II, Ref 49350: Look at the radial pattern on the dial, it gives structure and depth...great detail!
Or the fine dial pattern on the Sea Hawk with applied mirror-polished numbers and indexes:
Or take the Mechanics of Art Vintage 1945 and check out the fine vertical brush on the applied numerals.
Ok, one more, Laureato Evo3 and the great thought that went into the lume application.
So when all those fine details come together, it makes a very tempting cocktail.

Absolutely, this is one detail I love about GP
but it's not just finishing or decoration or quality of the dial, it is even more the thought that went into the designs.

they don't jump at you right away, you can discover them over the years which increases the pleasure with the watch.

I'm the same...it needs time wearing the watch to fully understand and appreciate
all the details and often you can wow effects months or even years after owning it. And sometimes, a watch does not develop that effect and often that is one that gets considered for a trade or sale.
