Introduction as a new member

I own a number of watches from Omega and IWC and other brands but wanted to take the next step to a higher plane, so to speak. I chose to buy one of the following: a Lange 1815 RG, or a Patek 5115, 5117, or 5107. There was a Lange exhibit at a good shop in the DC area this weekend and I was able to compare the full Patek line with the full Lange line.

Wow, I want a Lange Datograph! But comparing the affordable (for me) Lange and Patek watches the Lange won hands down. I bought the 1815 RG and could not be happier with it! Wearing it now.

I will be saving for the Datograph next, or maybe a Lange 1 on the way.
