interesting find - SOLID GOLD...

 

most of time, there is some hallmark symbols or numbers, e.g. crown, queen heads, 750 for 18k etc, on the watch case, and on either the pin or deployant buckles if the watch is in gold.

at one gtg this evening, when i was taking a closer look at my friend's gold watch, but i find some interesting words engraved on the deployant buckle in addition to the usual one,18K and 750 marks on it, where shows the two words of "SOLID GOLD". not sure this is practised only in JLC watches or actually by other companies. anyway, this is my first time of seeing such direct words on the buckle which i think it may be interesting to humbly share with people here.
