Jokes aside, my Deep Sea is the hardest watch to chose a strap for. I love the original pseudo carbon fiber strap, but I grow tired of black-strapped watches rather quickly.
I tried som brown leather straps, but none of them conveyed the sporty elegance that the timepiece deserves. Here is my experiment with a bond-coloured nato.
It can be used with the original buckle, which is a big plus.
What are your thoughts, dear purists?

About the NATO. Of course Mr. Bond could wear a TTDSA but with some classy strap. Cheers, Nilo Some wise person once stated: "Friends don't let friends wear NATO or ZULU".

Here's what I use ...
I have several leather straps for the TTDSA. Most are distressed, some black. Example: I prefer leather because of the softness and by the fact that I don't wear ANY watch, no matter how much water resistant is, for swimming or diving. Cheers, Nilo ...

But I never tested. I don't use any watch close to water. I don't see any sense to expose an expensive piece to potential damaged. Cheers, Nilo
Your straps are very nice
but we clearly have slightly different tastes there. Since DSA watches have a strong diver's watch DNA I cannot see them on anything that wouldn't work in water. I guess it's the same as for the infamous Rolex Submariner - it just doesn't look that good t...
Interesting combo...well chosen; the colors certainly do work; I think I would opt for leather.
