I wound this up
Monday mornig and set the time. Today is Thursday and I have
had to do nothing but wind it every morning. It is still nearly to the
minute from when I set it on Monday. It is so close that I have
not had to reset it. Not bad for an approximately 80 year old
watch.

Was it freshly serviced? If not, you might want to put it on a Timegrapher and see what the amplitude of the movement is. Typical amplitude of a movement on a modern watch is 250-290 degrees. When it starts dipping below 240 is when I would recommend aski...
