How do you feel about........
watches with no second hands? I am interested in the new gondolo in pt.(no second hand) as well as an auto calatrava again no second hand. Personally I don't think it detracts from the appearance of a watch at all if a second hand is present, as a matter of fact as I am writing this i think it is more important to me than I thought.
Incidentally does the 3940 have a second hand?
Any thoughts?

It's very interesting question...
Actually I had never thought that second hand (especially center one) can be so important in making watch LIVE, until I bought a piece with small second hand placed over (on) moon-phase indicator. There were many times when the watch looked like it stoped...
