Hello everyone,
I had been searching in earnest over the past few months for a certain Lange which was next on my list to acquire. My time spent over the past few years on this forum has helped me to map out which pieces I hope to collect, each with their own unique flavour while still embodying the essence of my favourite brand.
This past weekend I was able to finally conclude the search, and I can honestly say this watch makes my heart melt each and every time I look at it. I would like to thank PuristS owners of this Lange for posting photos which have helped me with my decision, and specifically CR and Blunotte for their advice and help along the way.
Now to the fun part...
Off to a good start
The warmth of a beautiful metal
The poetically elegant and smooth sweep of the Richard Lange
Hard to capture the subtle depth of the dial, but I know many here are owners of a RL.. so you can understand my difficulties.
The secret behind the magic, the quintessential element of Lange injected into this beautifully minimal 3-hand marvel. It was Stephen's words that helped me to understand that there is more than meets the eye.
Trying to showcase the engraving under more favourable lighting.

and a requisite wrist-shot
Family photo..
Sadly, I have to let one of the Lange 1's go. I am currently trying to decide which to keep and it is a very difficult decision.
So happy to own this Richard Lange, to me it shares that instantly recognizable Lange image. It was a difficult choice going with the RG over the PT case, however the other Lange's I have in mind going forward are all white metal pieces and the RG RL wears very well in my eyes.
Heading out on business for a couple weeks, unable to bring the RL. But will be tucked away safely waiting for my return.
Best regards,
Colton
