Gold Reverso on Strap - cleaning
Hello All,
I recently acquired the RG GMT on a leather strap. This is my first watch on a strap and I am facing a slight dilema. How to keep the watch clean without ruining the strap.
All my other watches are on bracelets and cleaning is a no brainer - dunk it in soapy water, rinse and wipe. What do you fellow Reverso owners do with your pieces on straps. The piece is water resistant but how about the strap? I can see that wearing it will result in dust accumulated in the carriage.
Another question is - how detrimental is flipping of the watch to the carriage? Will the spring-loaged balls leave indentations after few flips? Any opinions and experiences will be greatly appreciated
I apologize if these questions seem stupid and if they were asked before. I am new to the Reverso clan and, as all of us watch-crazy individuals, a little obsessed with my new toy.
