Fun trip to my AD today
Doing some Christmas shopping and popped into my local AD to get a strap for my wife's watch and to play with any RMs he might have on hand. To my great excitement he had quite a few.
I have been drooling over the RM012 since the first images showed up on the net and figured I'd never get the chance to see one in person, but all of that changed today. What a fantastic watch! It is extremely heavy and I'm sure the platinum case has a lot to do with that since the movement is so slim lined. Overall it was just wonderful to stare, I mean look at. And it looked great on the wrist.
He also had an RM009. It was great to see the similarities between the 12 and then 9 if only in the amount of space around the movement and the way the numbers are displayed.
I think maybe I should play the lottery tonight because he pulled out from the back an RM011. That watch is just massive! The pushers look fantastic up close and you can get lost looking into the face. There is so much going on but it is all easily readable. Another fantastic watch.
For mere mortals like myself, my heart belongs to the RM010 in Ti. I am getting closer to pulling the trigger on that one. It is nice to see that his less expensive models offer the same fit, finish and style as his more expensive ones.
What a great day. It was fantastic being able to view these watches. They are truly magnificent.
