My newest acquisition .....arrives freeezzzing cold....with a foggy glass...a few hours in the warmth will do it good...hopefully (fingers crossed) This message has been edited by Maltie on 2016-02-19 02:35:10...  

... if glass is fogged on the outside surface, it should dissapear in a few moments. If it is fogged inside, I would be worried, because it shouldn´t happen if the watch is correctly sealed. Condensation inside glass would mean that the humidity would go ... 

The seals are corrupt - AT

I guess there must be something wrong as almost 6 hours later the sapphire glass is still foggy on the INSIDE. Have asked my contact within Panerai what could be wrong, but I guess it is the sealing that is faulty. TBC

It means you have to service the movement, because obviously the humidity is everywhere within.... :-(

This watch will have to undergo a full service to clean it completely as the humidity has gone everywhere. Now the fogging is almost gone but left drying marks on the inside of the crystal glass. A real bummer.

I never saw a modern Panerai with a crystal like that... This is most probably the reason for it...

But I\'m returning this lovely piece to the dealer, for a full refund. Most likely I will never be able to buy this piece again :-( ...  

Dealer took the watch back and refunded within 24h. That is what I call service !
