first time buyer, chose 305
hello all,
i posted a msg about half a year ago in which i stated that i would only buy a "historic" PAM (201A or PreA1). However, I was on a business trip and by chance saw a 305 in the window of an AD. I know that there has been some buzz around this watch, and indeed, I immediately loved it. I decided to buy it in a couple of hours time. So this is my first purchase, what do you think ? i hope it will replace my urge for that 201....

and nice pair... but the force of vintage is strong...I would advise stay away from online watch forums...(except this place of course!) J/K

one of my favorite panerai models, but i wouldn't discount that this will reduce your urge for another If anything, it will be the start of more to come enjoy it. richard

Good choice... I have one myself and very happy with it... it is my third Panerai but I like that you made a couragious choice for a first watch of Panerai 47mm Submersible... congratulations.
