First Patek - Ref. 96
Hello,
This is my first post on the forum. I am currently seeking my first Patek, a clean vintage 96, and have found what I believe to be the one I'm going to purchase. I was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between those with the Geneva seal and those without was. Is there a certain date that this was introduced? I've seen some that are double signed, ones with one, and none at all. I am looking to keep this piece long term and am not that concerned with its worth or resale, I just want to make sure that I am paying a fair price for it. Does anyone see anything that I should be concerned with on this movement? Thanks!

The movement and case (little that can be seen of this) seem to be in fine condition. I'd take the plunge on this watch if the dial were fine. Ref 96, a true classic and one of the most beautiful watches you can ever own. Rishad
