Girard Perregaux

End summer shots & A Recent Arrival

Fruends,
Several of you meanwhile have realized that I have been
" Blommanized" with the GP virus..

That way I had already happily found a Richeville Chronometer,
a Sea Hawk, and some more Vintages, mostly from 60ies

Richeville Chronometer

SeaHawk (40ies) & Ref 9086 Chronometer HF

It also had emerged as a stimulus for getting my first
modern, the Traveller II, GMT, Gde Date, Moon with sapphire dial,
which meanwhile gets pretty much of my wristtime.

Although a small family of GPs, I was looking for a nice Chronograph,
and recently got lucky to find a 70es one, which really caught my
attention.
- First I like Vintages from the 70ies ( next to 50ies & 60ies of course),
secondly it happened to be with a blue dial, which I was looking for in GP.

Really a nice 13 ligne Column wheel Chronograph,
including the original bracelet..

GP, Ref 42.10, Cal Valjoux 23

Really like the nice Tritium indices, and
the changing colours of blue, depending on play of light

Nicely signed bracelet, the latter matching the design
codes of funkyness of the 70ies..

Cute little lightblue accent in subcounter @3

Really like it a lot..

Hopefully, you did a bit as well.

Cheers & have a great Sunday
