Dumb Newbie question - what are the basic differences between a Rad and a Lum?
Ok this is probably the dumbest question ever on this board.....
Since being shown an 8 day GMT Luminor by a local watch seller (c.£15,000) I have decided that I want a Panerai and have fallen in love with the brand/design/look and feel.
But I cant decide which I like better, the Luminor or the Radiomir. For example, simply looking at say a basic
Luminor PAM 00176
and the Radiomir PAM 00210
to a newbie they look pretty similar.
What should I be looking out for? And what are the basic differences bewteen the two types?
Any help would be appreciated as I dont want to buy the 'wrong' watch.

Well beware of the catalogue, my friend
As there were different sizes for both Luminor and Rad watches... 40, 42, 44, 45, and 47, and even this year ..48mm for Rads. 40, 44, 47 mm for Luminors, and if you consider the Mare as a Luminor you will have to add 42mm. Best. Nicolas
