Dropped one

I was very excited to receive my brand new Trilobe watch, Une Folle Journée in the Dune color scheme. Like every watch nerd on here I was ready to take cool pictures of it in all the requisite ways, including a beloved steering wheel shot. Got home, took it off, and promptly dropped it on the hard floor.

There are drops that simply by the sound you know they’re destructive. I am sad to say that the Seconds disc has broken off, and the winding stem and crown popped out.

Let’s see how long it takes Trilobe to respond, and more importantly to repair. The risk with independents is that their servicing is not on par with the big houses. All prior correspondence with the company was prompt and professional though, I hope that continues. Will let you know.
