Difference on F Series
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the craze in Panerai's and wanted to know the difference between the "lettered series" as I'm just assuming it's a year by year thing in descending order from A through K (2008).
If I am wrong, please correct me. If I am right, my next question would be how do you "really" tell a true Panerai from the F Series if it's offered at a 2nd hand shop outside of Authorized Panerai dealers. Is there a site that you can register the watch like you can w/ Patek's?

You are correct about the letters
no letter=1997; A=1998; B=1999 etc. There is no mechanism to register your watch, but you can try to post details here including pictures of dial and movement and you will get some good opinions. Best is to make sure you are buying from a reputable shop a...
