De Bethune...If Only
Well, this is a problematic brand, De Bethune, for me...
I love a lot their original watches, and design.
The dials are very often interesting and beautiful, as this maginficient pc in line, with the original moonphase
But,but, but...
Did you notice the particular lugs system, even asymetrical???
Just around the crown, located at 12, which is once again original, you don't have the same lugs at 6 and at 12...
It disturbs me a lot.
A pity, as in the whole De Bethune watches, there are magnificient ones, like this last one...
But, once again, the fixation of the strap disturbs me a lot, as it breaks the original balance of the whole watch.
Did I miss something, am I alone?

De Bethune is in a whole different league from RD
The quality of De Bethune all round - dial, case, hands and even the straps - is truly outstanding. Innovation in terms of technology is also amazing, but they seem a bit too ambitious and deliever much too few watches for the brand to really establish it...
