And how does it drive ?
Well the Renault Twin Run weighs around 950 kilos and has 320 hp. The Nisan V6 atmospheric (yes) engine sits in the centre of the car which is actually a race car build on a tubular frame.
This car is both a showcase for the future as for the past, Renault has built some crazy cars like the mid-engined R5 Turbo and the Clio V6 .

Actually Renault made a descent handling car around that Nissan engine ... they even made the engine sound fabulous :-) I can assure you the GTR engineers at Nissan have nothing in common with the Z-engineers ... . Bim
Nice car, I like it.
It looks like a fast toy, sound great, and looks like it handles very well too. Would love to have one for those boring sundays, it would have a "dci" badge on the tail, and a more discrete color. thanks for sharing vte
We used to drive this ...
:-) Golf "GTD" ... which in fact had a bonkers 16 valvole engine developping over 150 hp ... while in those days a GTD had 70 hp and was very slow compared to other hot hatches ... . Except this one was always faster at the lights :-) .... . Bim ...
