Cartier Basculante winding issue/question
Hi guys
This is my first manual winding watch; and I have a question ;The crown slides back from the beginning of winding it till the end is this okay?

Mine does the same thing as well. At first I thought it was strange that as you wound it the crown would spin back. But now I figured out a technique to help me from it spinning back all the time and make winding more efficient. Cheers.

It's always wise to exercise extra caution while winding a manual watch. 1,If you see the crown 'spin back' a tiny bit while winding, it's a good indication that the spring barrel is almost fully wound, and it's a good time to stop. Overwinding a manual w...
