Thank you. In the ad they set up the strap differently at first.
Then changed it the other way. Just have to feel my way on whats best but they said picture above is what most Jlc enthusiast go for. Cheers and thanks again. ...
Having the edge of the strap tuck in the loops in the same direction as on a traditional tang buckle is the default, I believe.
So I agree that your pic shows the default. But I generally prefer tang buckles for comfort anyhow, so I'd always play around to find the most comfortable configuration. Great JLC, by the way. Ultra thins are a JLC strength. Cheers, John

Mine is the now-discontinued JLC Master Ultra Thin 38mm with Ultra Thin cal 849 ...
It came with a black aligator strap , but had it changed ro a dark brown one.
Just want it more versatile as i don't wear a suit often. Its warm here in the tropics. Im a polo shirt jeans or chinos kind of guy. Warm regards Luis. Best wishes
