Caliber 4400 photo
I was dreaming about the American 1921 (again....) and looked at a photo I had taken of the caliber 4400 from the Patrimony Traditionnelle and just noticed the finish on the crown wheel:
The crown wheel is the geared wheel at the 9 o'clock position in this photo The sunburst finish emitting from the center of one of the screw holes is different from what I've seen in the past. This next photo shows the crown wheel of an American 1921 with a high polish:
Why the change? I have no idea! If you have a caliber 4400 in your watch please show a photo of the crown wheel.
