WHL offers a comprehensive review of Vacheron Constantin's 2012 novelties, providing a valuable retrospective before the SIHH 2013 introductions. The article highlights key releases such as the Malte collection, including the Malte Tourbillon and the 100th-anniversary edition, alongside updates to the Patrimony Traditionnelle and Overseas lines.

That is a great refresher on the 2012 novelties. Looking back on the 2012 collection, I think it was overall a stunning collection of peices with some new and very exciting designs. There were pieces I have had to consider very carefully in terms of my personal wish list and some pieces that have caused me to dream. Who could ask for more? I look forward to the back and forth on the 2013 collection... Best, respo
Thank you for sharing, Bill. Is the pictured blue VCOC the regular blue one (49150) or the 100 pieces ltd. edt. greek one (49152)? The contrast on the sub dials does not look like any of them in the picture. Thanks for sharing, btw! S.
but that is the standard production blue dial model, which is now in the market. The Greek Overseas had a textured dial, which the standard production is flat. Bill
Nice retrospective Bill. I just went for a visit in the brand new Parisian boutique and had time to see the Malte Tourbillon. I thought it was to big and that was missing something but what a watch! The case is splendid and its thickness makes it very very attractive to me: I thought of a piece of chocolate. It's not too flat (not at all I should say), it's soft and round (but not bulky) the whole case+bezel was perfect to me. The Tourbillon was nearly secondary... A real discovery I 'm pleased
Thanks, Bill. The contrast was much more available in the picture than I have noticed earlier. Thought I'd missed a version there. Still looking for the correct blue VCOC for me (I guess it's gonna be the Greek). S.
it really looks like a different hue of blue.....the Greek model is more black in the subdials. It'll be hard to get both of them side by side for comparison. Bill
