Recently spent some time looking at the 6006G. I like the dial a lot on this reference and the calendar display. However it looks a little odd on my wrist due to the longish lugs so perhaps it will be a pass for me.
I haven't had that cake...
I've only had the mille crepe cake. And admittedly I'm getting bored of the mille crepe. So I'll have to try something different next time! Always a big fan of the 6000G. A really special and underappreciated Calatrava within Patek Philippe.

From what I understand, the process for preparing the checkers cake is more onerous than the crepe recipe.
