Break-in accuracy and UN understatement
What is the typical "break-in" period? My watch runs -4 sec per day on the wrist, but has no variability. Can this be fine tuned easily? How long should I wait to do the adjustment?
I just bought my first UN GMT big date in SS with black roman dial w/ both black croc band and SS bracelet.I catch people looking at it all the time, but they have no idea what it is. It looks great, but doesn't carry the stigma of a "bling bling" Rolex on your wrist when you are talking with customers.
I also don't have to worry about going to a meeting and seeing the same watch on someone else's wrist. I travel to Asia often, where decent fake watches outnumber real ones 10 to 1, even among businessmen. UN's are not among the counterfeiter's choices, unlike lots of other top brands.
