Help Needed--Fast minute hand on Big Date
Hi All.
My new Big Date, which I really really like (see my other post for pics), has a fast moving minute hand. The watch runs within spec, seconds-wise. However, the minute hand slowly moves from exactly on the marker at 0 (12) to about half way between the markers after four or five hours and to the next minute marker by morning and so on. In other words, the watch keeps good time but needs to be reset because, after a few hours, it's not displaying the correct information.
Has anyone else experienced this problem. I purchased the watch from an authorized dealer 5 days ago. Should I take it back and ask for a replacement? I really don't want to send it off for a month or more after less than a week. And, I certainly don't want anyone other than the factory to make any adjustments. If this is a typical problem, though, I also don't want to simply exchange it and get another that does the same.
