I’m a big fan of the modern Bathyscaphe case. When the design is simple yet thoughtful -- it really shows. The traits carry over from the 1950s original; the combination of beautifully beveled/non maxi lugs, big crown, moderate size and absence of crown guards.
The case size ~38mm (a slight up size from the original) and compact height ~10mm allows it to wear comfortably. More like a great daily wearer than a true tool watch.
Any other sports watches that also fit the bill of “elegant” (not too thick) + “sporty” (good water resistance) that you like?
Thanks for reading!
PS. It i looks good on a bracelet as well!
