Blancpain 2185/Chicago Help and Question...
Wondering if someone on this board might be able to help me. Recently I was given a Blancpain LeMans 2185-1127-53. I understand this retails for anwhere from 6000-8000 U.S. dollars new. My question is this: for various reasons I'm considering selling the watch. It's in almost brand new condition with the case/box and paperwork intact. What could I be expected to reasonably get for this model if I were to go to a specialist watch seller, who buys and trades as well? And specifically, if anyone knows of fine watch dealers in the Chicago area who puchase pre-owned Blancpains I would be greatly indebted for that info. I look forward to any advice and suggestions on this matter.
