Arrived: 312!!!

Last Wednesday I received a call from my AD. It was a great call because my 312 had arrived. Friday I drove from Voorburg (Netherlands) to Slaets Antwerp (Belgium) to pick it up. Why a AD in Belgium when you live in the Netherlands I hear you think? I bought my first PAM there and got a very good service! Never change a winning team.

They already swapped the standard black gator for the stunning JV Nubuck gator. After opening the box, looking, feeling, smiling and putting it on my wrist, we talked, as usually for about an hour about PAM’s watches in general. I also looked at some winders. It was a great afternoon.

The 312 is (like much other PAM’s) much more beautiful in real then on the pics. The case and the dail are perfect. The 1950 case is much thicker then for example a 233. The dail is very clean and it’s a good thing that the cyclops is missing. It is also very nice to see the Manifattura movement trough the cystal caseback.

I also have a 164 (my first PAM). The difference between them is big. The 312 is much thicker and also a bit heavier. On the wrist it also looks slightly bigger (more like a 47 mm). Also the crystal is a bit more domed.

Conclusion: I’m a happy guy!
