The Steel bracelet makes the Aquanaut a bit more expensive but imo it's a no brainer.
This might be the most popular watch Patek offers nowadays, Steel was always more sought after than their gold variations and since the Nautilus 5711/1A is already a couple of years out of production, this might be one of , if not THE most sought after watch Patek offers today.
Recently spoke to my AD and he told me that since they are a Patek AD they only got 4 of these ... and that is in 10 years. When they receive an Aquanaut It's almost always on the rubber strap. About 20% comes on the bracelet and 80% comes with the rubber.
Anyway, that aside ... Do you like the Aquanaut? I know some really LOVe it while other don't like it at all.
Personally I love the case, bracelet and dial. The dial is really good when the sun plays with it.
That said I do not like Luminova that much and to me the hour markers and luminova dots every 5 minutes are too big. I wish they were more subtile.

I'm with you in loving the Aquanaut... but I think it's at its best on the rubber strap, and that it looks a little more generic on bracelet! So how about I take the watch and you keep the bracelet???
To each his own preference. The 5167 in rubber is fine in my opinion. An elegant sports watch. 😊

Adore the Aquanaut
I do not have any Patek Philippe but I very much desire the Aquanaut. Its a bit more sporty than the Nautilus. Just so extremely expensive and hard to get my hands on.

My brother liked the looks 👀 with rubber strap and bracelet. He bought the bracelet version and purchased the rubber strap separately so that he could have both. Reason was that if he bought rubber strap, bracelet could not be purchased separately from AD...
I have never been a huge Aquanaut fan.
But I agree I like it more on bracelet. I think it would be nice on a non-rubber strap too and if it had the options, especially quick change, like a VC Overseas to use bracelet/rubber/leather it would be fantastic. One can only wish.
Different strokes for different folks......ultimately, it's nice to have options......
I personally do not like it on bracelet at all. If the pricing was reversed and the rubber strap option would be more expensive, I'd still go for the strap.
