AP Lab Tokyo
Hopefully of interest to some, but during my recent trip I had the pleasure of visiting AP Lab in Tokyo near Harajuku here is the registration site for those interested, the event is free and open to anyone (provided you speak english or japanese):

Without spoiling too much you get to try some finishing techniques on a piece of brass that you get to keep and with provided strap you can wear it as a necklace. After you complete this level there are 2 more levels, one is completing a 11.59 watch case and the next one is completing a movement (I believe 3120 was mentioned), sadly my stay in Tokyo was too short with few slots available.
