An old pair
My wife stopped wearing hers long time ago, but I am wearing mine regularly. I believe Mark XII doesn't get enough credit: design taking queues from its military predecessors (except unfortunately the date), JLC movement, extremely comfortable bracelet. My only regret about mine, is that I allowed IWC to swap hands as part of regular service 20 years ago. Otherwise it is still perfect.

My first ‘nice’ watch was a MkXII from Austin Kaye, The Strand, London (late 90s?), I wish though that it didn’t have the date, it would have made more sense as a pilots watch to me.
