An old dream but still living obsession: JLC Reverso Platinum Tourbillon / Skeleton.
Each time I visit my hard disc and I fall on them, my hear beats faster.
I am not a big fan of Tourbillons, since we see them almost everywhere, made by everyone ( or almost ). They lost a bit of their prestige and exclusivity, in my opinion.
Still, there are some milestones, such as these 2 versions.
Let's recall that the skeleton is a limited edition of 35 pieces, and that the platinum Nr 2 is limited to 500 pieces.
One, the Pt Nr 2 has been released in 2003, the Skeleton in 2004.
GT case for both. The " gold number " somehow. A summit of elegance.
Now, the skeleton integrates the Tourbillon in superb way. No hole in the dial, the tourbillon is part of the dial. While the Platinum Nr 2 offers a very interesting possibility to its owner: The choice to see the Tourbillon whenever he wants, as he just has to flip the case. And the recto ruthenium dial is so nice!
We often discuss the title of the finest Reverso... I think that these 2 are not far from to top of the list of contenders for such a title.

I'm with you on the GT case
Think the GT case perfect size for a Reverso. Small enough to be discreet and elegant, but big enough & with room to do lots of interesting things. The run of complicated Reversos in GT cases from the 60eme series onwards is just amazing. A really diverse...

Every time you do a post with photos - I add a watch of my dream list and my wife makes a move to reach for the phone to call a divorce lawyer. I will blame you if she ever makes that call

Although not in the usual sense in this case. I guess "Vlad-respondent" would be more accurate.
In general, I eschew the simultaneous wearing of watches on both wrists...
... but in this case, I have to admit wearing the Platinum No. 2 on its verso side on my left wrist and wearing a "practical" companion on the right wrist to... you know, tell time ;-) And with a watch this beautiful, time stands still. Best, Tim
So, you prefer the Platinum Nr 2 to the Skeleton, Tim? As I said, I would be very happy with any of these 2.
But if I had to choose only one, I would probably go for the Skeleton. I like your idea of wearing one watch on each wrist, though... Best, Nicolas

I had not seen them before! When you look at the balance wheels, it is crazy to see what beauty the Gyrolab brought into the movement. These conventional balance wheels look shocking now! Don't you think? Best, É.
