ALSl leather strap
Just about to acquire my first ALS, Saxonia Ultra Thin 37m.
Rose gold. Comes with brown strap. As this will be my dress/evening/ formal watch I’m tempted to change the strap to black (can imagine ALS charge for this) . Mainly for wear with suits ( blue predominant colour). Might try the brown for a bit. Don’t think I’m capable of switching straps without messing up the case. Apologies for a bit of a stream of consciousness - any thoughts?

Just wondering if people think black more suitable (formal) with that watch. Most in pink gold seem to have brown straps I assume for a reason.....)
Black straps are like black shoes...
Reflects a more formal style. Personally I find that a dark blue strap works very well with pink gold.
I'm sure black will look great as well
No reason not to have both colors and occasionally swap them out. My only suggestion would be to try to match the strap to the color of your shoes/belts that you wear most often.
Keep the original strap!
The brown/burgundy strap goes well with pink gold and the watch itself is ultra dressy. You do not need a black strap to make it even more dressy.

I’ll try the brown but certainly look at other colours later. Don’t feel confident try swapping straps myself (buckle etc) which is a pain as flexibility would be good. Looking forward to getting my first ALS (indeed first such high quality ) watch.
