Alpine Eagle is not something I lean towards... but there are few dials I like.

To me, such a marquetry dial feels misplaced in a steel watch.

It makes me think of VC’s marquetry tourbillon MR, which looks gorgeous in a traditional gold case. ...  

Interesting indeed, but still not for me. I prefer more traditional dial design.
