Almost forgotten: Jaeger Lecoultre Extrem World Compressor 2010.
In 2010, JLC unveiled a new version of their Extrem World Compressor, in steel or in rose gold.
This version had a short life, one year, maybe, and nobody, or almost, posted it.
Though, its dial was quite spectacular!
The fiber glass dial was very nice, and added a technical touch to a Watch which didn't lack technicity, I must say.
The EWC was a true diving Watch, with its compressor pushers, water resistant to 100 meters.
The shock absorbers mounted in the case allowed some rude treatments without any problems for the movement.
AND, it was also a true world time.
Ok, its 46, 3 mm case was not for every wrist, but hey, do we all really need to wear the same Watch?
Not often seen, but not forgotten.
Does anyone here have one?
If I remember correctly, our Mamac had one.

I tried the first versions back in 2010 and was quite near to take the plundge
but it was a bit to big for my wrist (even if I don't consider this kind of watch like a normal one). The shockabsorber feature is unique I think, very water proof (100m but quite reliable as I don't trust usual seals), the spiral was lazer welded for bet...

JLC has all the DNA...
for a great sport line (are you listening, Mr. Riedo?), but just need to devote some money and resources to it. And it would be so different to the rest of the sport watches out there. -Dean

Thanks for posting this. One to watch out for and I much prefer this limited one to the original. Probably because the dial reminds me of the Amvox 5 more than the original. If I hadn't got an Amvox 5 then this would be at the top of my want list.
